Heating and cooling costs represent nearly half of the average homeowner’s yearly energy bill.  Replacing your old furnace or central air conditioner with an ENERGY STAR® qualified model could cut your heating or cooling costs by as much as 30%.

This rebate is for the following Carrier furnace and/or central air conditioning units:

  • $100 for Carrier 58MCB 92% AFUE furnace
  • $100 for Carrier 24ABB3 13 SEER central air conditioning unit
  • $150 for Carrier 24ABC6 14 SEER central air conditioning unit
  • Bonus $50 for purchase of both a central air conditioning unit and furnace

To Qualify for this Rebate:

  • You must be a DTE Energy Home Protection Plus customer with a furnace or central air conditioning unit that can no longer be repaired.
  • You must have an appliance protection plan that includes furnace and/or central air conditioning coverage.
  • Your Carrier brand replacement furnace must have a 92% AFUE rating or higher.
  • Your Carrier brand replacement central air conditioner must have a 13 SEER rating or higher and use Puron® refrigerant.

Your rebate check will be paid by Carrier Great Lakes after sale and installation are complete, and within 60 days of receipt of your sales invoice from your Carrier dealer.
